Where files come from

Android: after you allow file access, the app finds documents anywhere on your phone, including Downloads and files saved from chat apps.

iPhone: open a file from Files, Mail or Safari with "Open in", import files, or link a folder such as Downloads or one in iCloud Drive so its documents always show up.
